Job Description:

As a member of the SIOP team, this individual will act as the principal intermediary between the planning team and store operations. You will serve as the principal information provider for the Overhaul and Planning leaders, working with them to optimize strategies, reduce expenses, mitigate delinquency, and improve turnaround time.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise adherence to production schedules and ensure operational congruence with production objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • During each shop visit, monitor engines, modules, and individual components to identify areas for enhancement and ensure that TAT and labor hours remain on schedule.
  • Recognize instances where routine responsibilities are not executed punctually, in adherence to established protocols.
  • Distribute and compile reports on gate closures. Ensuring product line-wide consistency by highlighting exceptions, designating them to action owners, and verifying that they are followed up on.
  • Collaborate with support functions to commit internal and external materials, documenting instances where they fail to satisfy the specified criteria.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to determine workforce capacity, ensuring that levels of absences, absences due to illness, and training adhere to production objectives.
  • Collaborate with the SIOP as a whole to plan the long-term capacity of the site, including labor and equipment.
  • System and tool maintenance for site planning, including SAP, engine plans, output monitors, and automated scheduling software.
  • Schedule meetings for daily production.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance personnel to arrange routine and critical maintenance to minimize program disruption.

  • One of the responsibilities will be to report to the Overhaul Planning Leader, with Gate 1/3 serving as the primary focus.
