Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort, is a premium wellness retreat exclusively for adults located on the secluded Hawaiian island of Lanai. Wellness consultations, spa treatments in a private hale, fitness and well-being seminars, lectures, exhilarating island activities, and Nobu dining comprise a customized experience. An exceptional environment, renowned proficiency, and unparalleled hospitality work in concert to deliver an entirely individualized experience that facilitates the exploration of one’s maximum state of well-being.

The Retreat Host represents Four Seasons Resorts Lanai as the Hospitality Ambassador.

The Retreat hosts:

At designated pick-up and drop-off locations on Lana’i for resorts and resort amenities, greets and transports visitors. Assists with the loading and unloading of cargo onto carts and automobiles, as well as lifting. Ensures that visitors have a pleasant and secure journey. Complies with every local traffic regulation and law. Confirm the vehicle’s optimal condition. Preserves pertinent documents detailing completed journeys in addition to arrival and departure times. Boasts a comprehensive understanding of the local thoroughfares, enabling visitors to be transported to and from their designated location with minimal delay. Supervises the vehicle’s cleanliness and orderliness, ensures it has undergone scheduled maintenance, and reports any operational problems that may arise.

Engages in “Talk Story” sessions with travelers during vehicle transfers, encompassing historical tours, activity details, and anecdotes about the island. Accomplishes all check-in responsibilities upon arrival. Responsible for managing all guest interactions with the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy; accompanies special requests to the best of one’s ability; resolves customer complaints; and assists guests regarding operational schedules, in-house activities, directions, package management, messages, and faxes, among other matters. Provides accurate and timely responses to all passenger inquiries while offering recommendations grounded in hotel protocols and local knowledge. Facilitates reservations for events, restaurants, and activities.

Completes all check-out responsibilities and procedures before departure. Assigns a Cash Float and ensures compliance with all float-related regulations and responsibilities. Guests should be escorted to prearranged activities (e.g., spa, adventure center, exercise, etc.). Plan excursions by the Sensei Guide’s suggestions. Adheres to conversation and email correspondence as specified with promptness. Executes every additional responsibility as designated. Adheres to the Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct of Four Seasons, as specified in the Employee Handbook.

Work authorization from the United States is mandatory unless the applicant is presently employed as a manager at one of Four Seasons locations. Presently employed Four Seasons managers might qualify for sponsorship of L-1 visas.
