The Department of Paediatrics is home to an extraordinary opportunity for a Senior Research Nurse to join the Specialized Translational Research Oxford Neuromuscular Group (STRONG). In close collaboration with the Clinical Trial Managers, Laura Chiverton, Clinical Research and Operations Manager, and Laurent Servais, Principal Investigator, you will be instrumental in the execution of our clinical trial portfolio.

You will oversee the clinical aspects of our portfolio of clinical trials while also serving as an exceptional team leader. As an individual participating in clinical research visits, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. In addition, the chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate effective communication abilities across various contexts while supporting participants and their families in making informed choices concerning their involvement and enrollment in the study.

You will contribute to the expansion of a department located in the Medical Sciences Division. With internationally renowned research programs in drug discovery, gastroenterology, hematology, HIV, immunology, neuroimaging, neuromuscular diseases, and vaccinology, the Department of Paediatrics is a global leader in child health research.

The position is available on a fixed-term contract for one year, working full-time. An extension is possible if additional external funding becomes available. This role satisfies the criteria for obtaining a UK Skilled Worker visa.
