Responsibilities of Mechanical Engineer Jobs

You will be responsible for overseeing all engineering maintenance initiatives for AON3D that are designed to sustain our existing product lines. This will include tasks such as long-term validation, feature development, and manufacturing enhancements. Continuous communication with our production, engineering, and customer success teams will be required, with the majority of this effort devoted to linear, thermal, and mechanical motion systems utilized in 3D printers.

Due to the small size of our team, this position provides numerous opportunities to implement substantial modifications that will guide the product and have a profound effect on our internal and external users.

Requirements for Mechanical Engineer Jobs

  • At least six years of professional experience in mechanical system design, development, prototyping, and verification are required after graduation.
  • Possession of experience developing a minimum of one mechanical product.
  • Knowledge of compliance and certification standards for products, including CE, ETL, TUV, CSA, and UL.
  • Capability to evaluate the viability and quality of a product utilizing standard inspection equipment, techniques, and gauges.
  • Proficient and user-friendly SolidWorks.

Nice-to-have

At least one of the following should be known:

  • Additive production
  • Mechanical precision devices
  • Construct for use in environments with elevated temperatures.
