About You:

As a Principal Social Worker, you must have high professional credibility derived from a wide range of social care expertise, including extensive management experience. You will need to lead through influence, so you must be active, resourceful, enthusiastic, and highly motivated, with a track record of developing and improving strategic practices.

You will be as comfortable working with senior management and members as you are with frontline staff, children, and families. You will be able to drive service improvement and innovation on a strategic scale. Providing strong support and challenge to maintain high-quality practice while being responsive to the needs of children, families, and caregivers. You will have a degree in social work, ideally with additional advanced training relevant to the post.
