The Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability’s Social Impact Unit has recently implemented the Social Impact Manager position. Social impact is an expanding area of emphasis for the Department, which is presently staffed by a streamlined, unified group. Ensuring that the University’s community and social implications optimize opportunities for staff, students, and marginalized groups in the city region is the objective of the team. The successful candidate will oversee established projects, including the University’s community grants program, in close collaboration with the Head of Social Impact, Senior Community Engagement Manager, Community Engagement Projects Coordinator, and other members of the Social Impact Unit and Community Team.
