• Work under the supervision of a clinically qualified practitioner, such as a paramedic, technician, emergency care practitioner, or clinical supervisor, to assist and support in the delivery of pre-hospital clinical care that is both effective and of high quality to the community. Respond to a variety of situations, including medical emergencies, inter-hospital transfers, urgent hospital admissions, and other assigned operations, as required using emergency driving skills.
• Operating a variety of assigned vehicles in accordance with the IHCD Ambulance Driving Manual and Guidelines, as well as current regulations, while in an emergency situation.
• Under the guidance of a clinically certified practitioner—such as a paramedic, technician, emergency care practitioner, or clinical supervisor—assist and support emergency clinical scene management.
